Learning
Alongside our commitment to research and training lies a belief in the ability of individuals to develop themselves and their skills through learning.

For us, learning is much more than attending a training course; effective learning involves the individual in a lifelong journey of increasing self awareness and personal development.
European Care Group supports individuals by establishing a culture of workplace learning in all its homes and services. Our goal is to ensure that we build capacity in our services to develop a learning culture by giving people the tools and confidence to plan personal and professional development through questioning, innovation and interaction.

The Learning environment will support SVQ/NVQ programmes of work based learning as well as other sources of learning. These programmes of work based learning are regarded by all our commissioning partners as a primary source of evidence of workforce development and will be a key goal for each employee. Where there are difficulties for individuals to engage in an SVQ/NVQ programme then we want to ensure that an opportunity for learning is still available. We will support people to progress to their attainment of these vocational qualifications.
As part of our commitment to staff development European Care Group will continue to work in partnership with other organisations in developing alternative programmes that demonstrate effective staff development.
