Training
European Care Group is pioneering the development of the teaching care home, where Research, Teaching and Practice plays a significant part in the delivery of person centred care.
We also believe that to deliver person centred services our approach to Research, Training and Learning must embrace the principles of best vocational practice.
All of our employees benefit from service specific training programmes that reflect both the needs of the service user and the employee. These programmes are based on an assessment of the care needs of service users and the knowledge and skills which are needed by staff to deliver person centred care.
Regional Training Centres
To achieve this all training programmes will be developed locally with the support of our Group Training Manager who has a role in ensuring that a national framework of education and training is delivered using available local and regional expertise. This will ensure that the service is responding to particular local demands and benefiting from the knowledge and skills of the local community. Training offered will be directly related to the service users' outcomes and will include a method of competence based assessment.
